The issue of raw material safety in 2021 will not bypass any domestic meat processing plant. In recent years, the number of pigs has been declining, setting a new anti-record every year, artificially created shortages of raw materials and high prices for it. The enterprises of the Meat Industry Association could not stand aside. The association creates conditions for everyone to earn many times more. This opportunity arises with the implementation of the meat development program "New Pig 2025".

The state monopoly on alcohol production has been abolished in Ukraine: Legislative Act 18318-IX, initiated by President Volodymyr Zelensky last year, was made effective on July 1, 2020. 

20 million heads of pig population by 2025, 1 million tons of pork for the domestic market, and 2 million tons for exports.

Today Ukraine faces a crisis, the consequences of which cannot be fully predicted, but it is obvious that it will affect all economic processes and citizens’ social status. Food production is also undergoing structural changes: consumer behaviour changes, buyers become more price-sensitive, and some distribution channels, such as markets or HoReCa, are cut off or narrowed down for an undefined period.
